"The Week"

Well a crazy good week at my new home for ministry FBC Hendersonville. I must say to all of you who read this from @fbchnc thank you so much for making my family feel so welcome and loved. It's always great to feel that way by the church you serve in. I look forward to what God has planned in 2010 for our church.

My first week is complete! We have some AWESOME students who lovebto worship and be chllenged from God's Word. Guys and Gals get ready for a great move of God in our student ministry. Don't forget to get ur forms in for Winter Retreat you don't want to miss this trip. New worship leader for the retreat has been booked Rhett Canipe who is my nephew. Search for him on facebook and hear his music.

That's all for now time for Saturday football with Zachary and the UNC v Duke football game this afternoon....Go Duke!

1 month old

Well it's two days past us having Zachary already for one month! Time is going by fast and he is growing everyday!

What's new?

Had a great afternoon @fbchnc staff lunch. Looking foward to serving with a great team there. DeLaina and I are so pumped about all that God has planned.

Bitter sweet cleaning out the office @MCBC and really gooing to miss the in office Monday morning football talks with CoCo but there is alway breakfast!

I offically start @fbchnc this Sunday, November 1st. We will begin the "Thankfulness" series Wednesday, November 4th. It will run through the month of November.

More blogging to come everyday and even a couple a day. Now that I have an iPhone I can blog really easy through the typepad app!

Greater things are yet to come!!!!!

Building a Team....Part 1....

Super excited about what God is doing in my life right now.  New baby and new ministry!  Where do you begin in a new ministry, what do you do?  Having a team around you, will make your ministry thrive.  

Finding the right people that go together will be the key.  Stay tune FBC students as we build an awesome Student Ministry Staff Team that are going to blow things up!  

Can't wait to see and meet all of you tomorrow night!

God's Big Move!

DeLaina and I are really excited about this move in our life.  God has been doing a lot of work in our lives over the past few weeks and we are ready.  Really looking forward to getting back into the Student Ministry full-time and getting to know the students and leaders at FBC Hendersonville.  

More to come! FBC Students get ready God is going to do BIG things!  Can't wait to meet you on Wednesday!
